Call for Artists: On September 10, 2011, Plainfield Art League will host the 2nd Annual River Days Fine Art Fair from 10am to 6pm, in conjuction with Plainfield River Days in downtown Plainfield. ELIGIBILITY
Open to artists working in 2 and 3 dimensions: painting, drawing, sculpture, fiber, mixed media, jewelry, glass, pottery, photography, metalwork, wood, and digital art.
Original work only from the artist's portfolio. No mass produced products or kits, or assembled pre-fabricated forms. There are a number of spaces for vendors of hand-made soaps and cosmetics.

As well as the new classes available, Ken opened up "The Grove Gallery" adjacent to his frame shop. Artists, come by and check-it-out! A lot of new things are happening there. The gallery is a very bright and cheerful space.

Artists looking for a space to showcase their artwork for a night should contact Abby at FitzGerald's, 6615 W. Roosevelt Rd. in Berwyn. Artists can rent the Party Room on Wednesday or Thursday evenings for art receptions. Cost for artists is $100 / free for non-profits.
