Artist Statement: Chicago native, Therese Mildice, has enjoyed a lifelong passion for art that was nurtured by her artist father. Her skills developed during her early years at the school of the Art Institute of Chicago as well as printmaking classes at Triton collage with Annette Okner, and ongoing studies with talented artists such as: watercolor with Rick Nichols at his St. Charles’ studio, and with Jim Kosvanec in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Her interest has expanded to appreciate monotype painting with Pat Cobb in Glen Ellyn, and Steve Fisher in Oak Park.

Therese is a former Executive Director of the Alliance of Fine Art, and a past president and long-time member of the West Suburban Artists Guild.
