The theme for this year's Member Show (and WSAG's 86th) is CHAOS!! Start thinking of how you would like to convey the idea of CHAOS in your theme entry. Only current artist members will be able to hang their work - on Saturday September 27, from 9am=11am. The Artist Reception and Awards Ceremony will take place on Friday, October 17, 7-9:30pm.  Mark your calendars!!  The Entry Form has been sent to members, or you can download it by clicking the blue hyperlink.


The Next WSAG Board Meeting is Wednesday September 3, 2014, at 7:30pm at Triton College Fine Art Building, (J), Art Gallery (first floor)



Our program on Friday May 16, 2014 at 7:00pm at the Art Gallery, Bldg. J, Triton College was wonderful and fun. Colleagues and WSAG members Katie Mussio and Katie Netti giving a workshop on BOOKBINDING!!!   They had all the materials we needed to make a beautiful book, as well as various embellishments and other special materials if for us to use.

Our Oct. 18, 2013 85th Member Show reception was wonderful, with great refreshments (thanks Diana Nawrocki and Katie Mussio, etc. and music (thanks to Ringshout), and a wonderful judge, BettyAnn Mocek, who provided wonderful comments explaining why she likes the pieces she chose for awards. Next Monthly BOARD MEETING: WEDNESDAY, May 7  7:30pm - 8:30pm,  in the Art Gallery, 1st floor, Triton College bldg J.

At Board meetings,  WSAG officers and committee chairs meet and discuss plans, program, etc. ALL WSAG members are welcome to attend new ideas and  viewpoints are always very welcome.

NOTE:  April meeting is cancelled. We will have a Board Meeting May 7;   In June we will have a Board Meeting followed by a picnic (date and location to be announced)

As a member, you are informed of opportunities to exhibit your work in the Members Tent at the Art in the Park Fair as well as in the Gallery area of our web site.
